By purchasing a subscription box or product in the shop from The Mindful Teacher, you are agreeing to all of our terms and conditions.
Subscription Cut Off Window
The cut off for each month’s box is the 15th of the previous month. To order the following month’s subscription box you will have to place your order before the 15th of the previous month. For example: If you would like to order our September box, you have until the 15th of August to subscribe. If you have missed out and would like to subscribe to the following box, sign up to our mailing list to receive an email reminder of when our next subscription box goes live.
All of The Mindful Teacher subscription boxes are sent out on a monthly basis. These are sent out before the last day of each month via Royal Mail 2nd Class. It is estimated that you should receive your subscription box within the first week of each month. However, in the event of exceptional circumstances i.e flood, pandemic, or strikes within delivery services we cannot guarantee our boxes will arrive within the first week of each month. Once boxes have left our packaging location they are subject to our shipping estimates which can vary between 5-7 working days. Please note: these are only estimates and deliveries may take longer than advertised.
Upon the purchase of a 'One-off Box', this will be shipped at the same time as the subscription boxes and should arrive within the first week of the following month.
Purchasing The Mindful Teacher subscription box:
The minimum contract to purchase a subscription box from The Mindful Teacher is one month. After choosing your chosen payment method, you will enter a rolling contract where you will be billed automatically between 1-5 business days from the date that you subscribed to The Mindful Teacher monthly subscription box (weekends and public holidays are not classed as business days). Please ensure you cancel your subscription before the 25th of the previous month otherwise you will be charged the full amount. For example: If you would like to cancel your subscription before October’s box, please inform us by the 25th of September. Please be aware, we currently do not ship overseas (anywhere outside of the UK). If you subscribe and the shipping address is located overseas, we have the right to cancel your subscription, refund the original amount and to not proceed with shipping the products.
Purchasing a product or products from our shop:
After choosing your chosen payment method, you will be billed on the day of purchase or between 1-5 business days after the date that date (weekends and public holidays are not classed as business days). Please be aware, we currently do not ship overseas (anywhere outside of the UK). If you purchase a product from The Mindful Teacher shop and the shipping address is located overseas, we have the right to cancel your order, refund the original amount and to not proceed with shipping the products.
To purchase any of our products you can pay via your PayPal account, or from your credit/debit card. Please be aware if you do pay through credit/debit card the payment will still process through to PayPal as this is our payment service. You do not have to have a PayPal account or to create an account in order to purchase our products.
Damaged / Lost / Missing Goods
If your box:
Does not arrive,
Arrives damaged (which has damaged the contents) or,
Arrives with missing items,
Please contact email@example.com so we can assess the situation and find an efficient and effective solution as soon as possible.
The quantity of items in our boxes can vary due to the size and value of said items. In rare cases the contents of the boxes may vary due to demand, if this happens you will be notified that you will receive a unique box, with alternative products of the same or higher value than our original box.
You can cancel your subscription with The Mindful Teacher at any time, without any hidden fees associated. If you would like to cancel your subscription, please ensure you do so before the 25th of the previous month otherwise you will be charged the full amount. For example: If you would like to cancel your subscription before October’s box, please inform us by the 25th of September. If you decide you want to cancel your box after the box has been shipped, you will be charged the full amount for the subscription box that has been shipped, and then your subscription will be cancelled.
To cancel your box you can do this by logging in to your PayPal account or contact us at: firstname.lastname@example.org. Please write ‘CANCELLATION’ in the subject box so we can address the issue as fast as possible. We are aware that personal and financial situations may vary, therefore, you can cancel and restart your subscription at any time (within the dates set out in the Terms and Conditions).
We do accept returns. Please note for subscription boxes and one-off boxes, they must be unopened and in the same condition it was when shipped (unless your box has arrived damaged or missing goods: as stated in the section “Damaged / Lost / Missing Goods”). Products ordered from the shop must be returned in the same condition they were sent in by The Mindful Teacher. Only upon thorough inspection will a refund be issued. If any number of products are missing when returned we will not issue a refund. We do not pay return shipping costs. We do not accept returns because you are unhappy with the contents of the subscription or “one-off” box. These boxes are based on a discovery model where the contents of each month's box is advertised as a surprise. Please note we will only issue a refund up to 30 days after you have received the products. This is the same for any products purchased through The Mindful Teacher. We aim to respond to any emails within 72 hours.
The price of our subscription box will be the same value each month. We do however have the right to alter or change the price of these boxes, and therefore the corresponding payment plan at any time. We will address our existing customers through email to make them aware 7 days prior to any changes happening. We have the right to change/modify/run promotions on any goods at any time.

The Mindful Teacher will not be liable to you for any lack of performance, the unavailability or failure of this website or our services, or any failure by us to comply with these Terms and Conditions, where the unavailability or failure arises from any cause reasonably beyond our control.
We are not responsible for any items in our box once you receive them. Anything you do with our products is your responsibility. Any food items included in the subscription box or “one-off” box will have an ingredients list on the packaging, please be aware of this before you consume any items in our box.
The Mindful Teacher is not liable for any losses such as costs, opportunity, revenue or earnings as a result of you subscribing to our box or purchasing anything from our store.
